Yellow + Blue = Green
What do you know about Tetra Pak and aseptic packaging?
Well Yellow + Blue wines don't look like your typical bottle of wine. They're designed in Tetra Paks.
Tetra Paks are a form of aseptic packaging that keeps food safe, fresh, and flavorful without any refrigeration and preservatives. It preserves the natural color, texture, and taste of food in it's organic form.

But what is truly remarkable about this type of packaging is it's impact on the environment.
Here's are some impressive statistics from Yellow + Blue's founder Matt Cain from the book Demand by Adrain J. Slywotzky:

"Yes, glass can be recycled. But the process is expensive. And very few people actually recycle it. In the United States, 15% of wine bottles are recycled- the rest go to landfills. The recycling rate of glass and Tetra Pak is now just about the same. And in a landfill, 30 Tetra Paks are equivalent to 1 wine bottle. There's just no comparison."

"When you ship a glass bottle, half of what you're shipping is packaging. With Tetra Pak, it's 93% wine, and just 7% packaging. That beats even the egg,
long regarded as nature's "most perfect package" - where the shell represents 13% of the total weight. Imagine that: green packaging that even outperforms Mother Nature herself."

So next time you're shopping for wine, give Yellow + Blue wines a try.
Kudos to them for designing sustainability for wine lovers like myself.
